The firm has extensive experience in advising overseas companies on foreign direct investment, and on the laws, regulations and administration procedures that can have an impact on setting up operations in India.

The team prepares, applies, and follows up with the Foreign Investment Promotion Board /Secretariat of Industrial Assistance for approval on investment. The firm also advises on Indian exchange control laws, and looks into applications related to the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”) for exchange control approvals and permissions relating to inward and outbound investments.
